What’s your career highlight to date?

Being able to say that I’ve worked with iconic hoteliers like Ken McCulloch the creator of Malmaison. An absolute hospitality legend and terrific character!

When did you fall in love with hospitality?

I fell in love with hospitality when I was 17 and had a year off before going to university. I worked at The Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds. A stunning hotel with an inspiring GM at the time, Richard Young. I learned so much about wine and F&B and knew I wanted to be in hotels as a career.

What’s the next big thing in hospitality?

I hope the next big thing is greater support from the Government for our amazing industry, which is being squeezed like so many others. It’s a tough environment to be in at the moment.
